No login, and nothing that identifies a person is stored

What we do not collect

There are no accounts and no login. We do not ask for a name, date of birth, phone number or address.

We do not store IP addresses as they are.

What stays in your browser

One signed cookie (rv_p) for voting and visit counting. It holds only what you did today and expires at midnight KST. It is sent as HttpOnly so scripts cannot read it.

Session storage keeps your scroll position when you change the chart zoom. It disappears when you close the page and is never sent to the server.

What stays on the server

Metrics are numbers. Visit counts are daily page views and unique visits, with no personal identifier.

To limit repeat voting from one connection, the IP is mixed with a random value for that day into an irreversible form before counting. That value is deleted after a day.

Items submitted to the hometown box are stored as text. No author information is kept.

When you send a message

The message is stored on the server. A reply address is optional; it is stored only if you provide one and used only to reply.

Copyright, likeness and removal requests are reviewed, acted on, and the outcome is sent back to you. Without a reply address we cannot tell you the result.

Retention and deletion

Connection hashes are kept for one day. Subscriber and view counts from YouTube are kept for 30 days, per that provider's policy.
